Junior Spiders!
On Tuesday, we had the huge honour of being invited to attend the Junior Spiders award ceremony in Google HQ.
We didn't win a trophy but we did have loads of fun!

A Busy Busy Day!
Today was a very busy day in senior infants!
Check out some of the things we got up to!
We also had art today!
We made the most beautiful collages of owls (as inspired by the book Owl Babies).
They are really fantastic and are going to look great up on our art display board!

And The Lucky Attendees Are.....
Since our blog was short-listed for the Junior Spiders, our class have been invited to attend the award ceremony.
However, the venue unfortunately only has enough space for four children for each entry.
Cecelia just wasn't able to choose who should go so she got 'The Randomizer' to choose for her!

Very Exciting News! (Sticky Post)
Our senior infant blog – betnsseniorinfants.blogspot.ie has been shortlisted for the Eircom Junior Spiders Award.
This means that it is one of the 7 best blogs in the whole country!!!
This is an excellent achievement and we’re very proud of ourselves!
The ceremony announcing the best blog will be held on April the 29th. Until then, we’d love to see lots and lots of visits and comments on our posts to show the judges how much we love using our class blog! Well done again everyone!

Picnic with the Junior Infants
Today was a very exciting day! We had a picnic lunch outside with the junior infants since the weather was so nice.
We also played outside with the junior infants for the very first time!
Rory and Izzy found an unusual insect on the school window.
We were very excited by all the goings on so we did some meditation after break to calm ourselves down. It was lovely.
