Picnic with the Junior Infants
Today was a very exciting day! We had a picnic lunch outside with the junior infants since the weather was so nice.
We also played outside with the junior infants for the very first time!
Rory and Izzy found an unusual insect on the school window.
We were very excited by all the goings on so we did some meditation after break to calm ourselves down. It was lovely.

Revise your sounds!
It's been a while since everyone has been in school so you might have forgotten some of your sounds. You can revise them here!
You can use the class account or (even better) create your own account. If you have a personal account, the site remembers which ones you don’t know and let’s you practise them more.

In maths today, we had great fun learning the chicken counting song...
We also played Likki Likki Lox, where you have to guess how many blocks are hidden in the box... (There are always 5 to begin with)
We finished off with some great work in our maths books!

This is a great site for creating stories called Storymaker.
http://www.carnegielibrary.org/kids/storymaker/embed.cfm
You can either just make a story using pictures, make a story using pictures and labels or you could even get your parent or guardian to help you to write a full story. When you’re finished, click on END. It will ask you if you would like to share your story with others. Click Yes. It will then give you a magic number. Copy this down and go to http://www.carnegielibrary.org/kids/storymaker/.
There is a blue box on the right side of the page. Put your magic number in here and you can download your story to your own computer as a .pdf. Be sure to email it to the school email address (cecelia.class@gmail.com) so we can show it to everyone in the class! Good luck!
