Enterprise Day

Today was Enterprise Day! The 5th classes had been busy as bees doing market research, developing their products and engaging in a huge scale production. Today was the day we got to finally see their wares!

Check out the photos of our visit to the market.

It was extremely good fun!

100th Day of School!

Today was our 100th day of school! We did lots of things about the number 100 to celebrate - we made a 100 Name Square, drew 100 things and even had a whole school maths competition to see who had the best estimation skills!

One of the girls in an older class even made a 100th Day sign out of Lego in her house last night and brought it in to show everybody!

At the end of the day, we counted to 100 with this video.

 It was super fun!

Where Does My Food Come From?

For the last few weeks, we've been learning all about people who work in our community and especially farmers.

Today, we put our knowledge to the test with a game about where our food comes from.

It was a really good game so if you want to play again, just click on the picture!

If you'd like a real challenge, you can choose the one for 8-11 year olds!

The Typewriter by Leroy Anderson

Today in music we were listening to 'The Typewriter' by Leroy Anderson. Some of us weren't too sure what a typewriter was so we watched an animation of the music to see what it was.

Here, you can see a real orchestra playing the piece.

Today we learned our last capital letter EVER!

It was capital Z - like for names like Zeeat, Zak and Zane!
